Airlines who land without COVID-19 tests face $3,500 fine per passenger

Effective today (September 22, 2020) at 6 pm, airlines who board passengers who do not possess PCR tests or disembark passengers with positive PCR tests at the Kotoka International Airport (KIA) in Accra will be fined $3,500 per passenger.

Additionally, non-Ghanaians who test positive "may be refused entry and returned to the point of embarkation at a cost to the offending airline", the Ghana Airports Company Limited said in its latest update on COVID-19 guidelines for the KIA.
