The Food and Drugs Authority (FDA) has confiscated 98 unregistered herbal medicinal products during a market surveillance operation conducted between November 22 and 24, 2025, at Awoshie, and Boundary Road in Accra. The seized items include popular products such as Amenazel Herbal Tonic, Amenazel Herbal Bitters, and Poget Herbal Mixture, all of which were being sold without the required FDA registration.
