Brad nails are thin and usually small nails used in wood projects. These nails have narrow heads that protrude on one side and therefore can be easily embedded into the wood using a brad nailer or a simple hammer. There are some varieties of brad nails that are headless and are only 0.5 to 2 inches in length.
