If I switch my vehicle insurance to Enterprise Insurance from another insurance company do I lose my no claim discount?

No you do not. Your no claim discount is transferable.

If I have a claim, do I need to hire the services of a lawyer to process my claim?

No. You don't need the services of a lawyer. Just contact us either directly or through your agent/broker and your claim will be processed fairly and quickly.

What is the "excess" on a car insurance policy?

The "excess" is the contribution you pay in the event of a claim.

Who qualifies to access the Same Day Claims Service?

All motor comprehensively insured customers qualify, once your claim estimate is GH¢5,000 or below and you can drive your vehicle to our Airport office for inspection/ assessment before 3pm on weekdays.

What does Private Individual (x1) mean?

This refers to motor vehicles that are privately owned. They include Saloon, 4x4, Coupe, Suvs etc.

What does Private Corporate (x4) mean?

This refers to company owned motor vehicles. They include Saloon, 4x4, Coupe, Suvs etc.

What does Own Goods (z300) mean?

This refers to commercial motor vehicles that are used to carry goods or items as a business. They include Pick-ups, light weighted trucks, water trucks etc.

What does General Carthage mean?

This refers to heavy duty trucks that are used to carry large cargo such as timber, sand, etc.

What does Special Type (On Site) mean?

This refers to special vehicles that are used in road, building construction and farming. These are mostly at the site and not moved until the project is over. They include Cranes, caterpillars, excavators, bulldozers, wheel loaders etc.

What does Trade Plate mean?

This refers to unregistered motor vehicles that are privately owned and have DV and DP registration numbers. They include Saloon, 4x4, Coupe, Suvs etc.

Can I increase my Third Party property Damage Limit (TPPDL)?

Yes, you can. The standard is GHC5, 000 however you can increase your TPPDL by 1000s e.g. GHC6,000, GHC10,000 at a charge.
